Should be clear, daily, and completable in a normal day.

Agree on goals and stakes before the challenge starts

Be honest about completions even when no one is checking

Cheer each other on — you are still on the same team

If competition creates resentment stop and talk it out

Make goals challenging but realistic

Celebrate each other's wins even when you are behind
